How to Install Citrix Receiver for Mac Visit cloudnetworks.com.au and click login at the top right of the screen and enter in your credentials. If this is the first time logging in to the Cloud Portal from this computer then you may see a screen like the one below.
We have a Citrix/Xenapp 4.5 server with a single monitor. We would like to enable people who have dual monitors on their office PC to be able to view those dual monitors on their.dual. monitors at home, when they connect via Citrix server. While I am able to let them see both office screens via a scroll bar on one of the home monitors (using mstsc /span) I haven't been able to have both home monitors show the corresponding office monitors, when connecting via Citrix. Is it a syntax problem with my use of the mstsc command or is it that the Citrix server needs to be set up with dual monitors.
Or is it just not do-able, presently, as this link - - suggests? I'm in denial; I suspect I do, in fact, need Splitview or the like? We use it like this. Here's a how to: And here's the.reg file I use. This enables Citrix to use two full HD monitors (1920x1200 in 16bit color) REG: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 HKEYLOCALMACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Session Manager Memory Management 'SessionPoolSize'=dword:00000030 HKEYLOCALMACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Terminal Server Wds icawd thin16 'MaxLVBMem'=dword:00e4e1c0 But you will likely have to change some things. And make sure you backup your registry first, so you can undo it if it doesn't work for you.
We have a 32bit 2003 server, and the settings are different for a 64bit one. (sorry about the editing, but I removed all the nonimportant settings from the.reg). We use it like this. (sorry about the editing, but I removed all the nonimportant settings from the.reg). In windows it works like two separate monitors, at least for us. Like any local application really. The thing is that this setting is sometimes overwritten automatically, so I have the.reg file on the desktop of the server and simply run it when users complain about 'windows that get stuck halfway between monitors', because that is what it looks like. 10 second fix and the affected users are ok next time they log on, no need to reboot the server either. I have seen on some XP machines accessing that when a window is maximised it sometimes fill both screens, but that is usually a fluke with something not reporting the screens correctly to the Citrix server. And not usually a problem that a reboot wount fix.
Definitely a client issue. One thing that can get ugly with Citrix and dual monitors is that it puts the app on the monitor it was last used. Even if that monitor is no longer is attached. Good thing MS put in the window key + arrows to move the windows around:). Just did not think I would get a response back on a thread neary 2 years old.
I think I almost have it working - its working on our test Citrix server and I'll make the changes on the live server tomorrow. I've spent all day looking at this issue and have made several (3-4) tweaks to the registry and it is now working like I want. Now if I can just reproduce all of those on the live server tomorrow. I have it set as seamless but it does see both monitors separately and I can drag one window from our main app to the opposite monitor too.
Hallo, I use a iMAC wit macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.3 and the current Citrix Receiver 12.8.1. On the 27' iMac ( 2560x1395 ) i have an additional 27'Monitor ( 1920 x 1058 ).
This work now for years very well. If I use the menu bar and click on 'use all displays in full scree' and then 'full screen' ( hope this is translated well from German to English ) I use both screens. Since some days if I do this again, does not longer use both screens. He show me on the left one 3/4 of the screen and on the right one the rest. If I move the Citrix Screen from one Monitor to the user and to not use 'full screen' It works perfect with the display rate from each monitor.
If I start the Windows on Citrix I see the first time also the Start Picture of Windows over both Monitors, but before I can see the Windows Desktop it's get faulty again. Will be nice if somebody can give me some tipps, because our Support Team does not help with private enduser problems like this. Thanks in advance Sigi.
